The successful candidate:

Schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday (3–4 days per week)
Note: Schedule may include weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Flexibility is required, including occasional overnight or morning shifts on weekends. Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.

Position Summary:
The Guest Services Representative provides exceptional service and support to patients, families, and visitors at the Guest Quarters and Hospital Concierge Desk. This role requires a warm, professional demeanor and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. The representative ensures all inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with eye contact, a smile, and a professional, genuine welcome.

  • Collaborate with departments including Travel and Accommodations, Transportation, Security, Registration, and Financial Counselors.

  • Assist guests with mobility needs (e.g., wheelchair escorts, oxygen tanks, luggage).

  • Provide information about local attractions and services.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a fast-paced customer service environment (healthcare or hospitality preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some college coursework, preferably in Hospitality or Hotel Services.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Knowledge of local attractions and amenities.

  • Self-motivated with a strong attendance record.

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a team-oriented mindset.

  • Adaptability to changing schedules and responsibilities.

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.

  • Basic typing and keyboarding skills.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $17.51 - $22.56 / hour
