The successful candidate:

  • Schedule and perform installation, preventative maintenance, and replacement of pneumatic, electric, electronic and variable frequency drive control heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) control systems.

  • Provide skilled experience with many aspects of heating, ventilation, water analysis, and air conditioning maintenance throughout the facility. Maintain associated equipment to optimum efficiency and safety levels.

  • Install/repair lights; replace bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures as needed. Repair plumbing and mechanical equipment and maintain all aspects of building maintenance as necessary. Encourage relationships with outside vendors for repairs and supply purchases.

  • maintenance of Emergency Power Generators and with monthly testing of equipment. Also responsible for required documentation

  • Maintain preventative maintenance work orders and maintain equipment records, repair manuals, drawings and operating logs for compliance of state / JCAHO regulations.

Minimum Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.

Minimum Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in all aspects of building maintenance, including HVAC and refrigeration.

  • Experience with work order and preventative maintenance systems preferred.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $21.59 - $35.56 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
