A City of Hope Exterior Management Associate supports the exterior management efforts on the Duarte campus. This role requires support of a five-star campus experience via landscaping, cleanliness, general appearance, and occasional customer service. The production team is the liaison between the external environment and patient/staff/visitor experience at City of Hope. This team delivers services with a high level of engagement, interpersonal skills, safety acuity, and City of Hope values. This role is the front line in providing a campus-wide five-star experience.

This position also includes a drone pilot specialty. Drones are used as part of our window washing system.

Key Responsibilities include:

Grounds keeping/landscaping:

· Picking up trash/debris (on foot) across campus

· Planting flowers, trees, or other landscaping items

· Clearing weeds/leaves/debris from exterior locations

· Watering/fertilizing landscaping

· Pruning/edging/manicuring landscaping

· Cleaning exterior furniture/monuments/signage

· Moving rocks/mulch/plant material from one location to another

· Ensuring campus grounds are highly cared for/monitored

· Set up, break down, and customer service during events

Pilot/Operate Window Washing Drone System:

· Operate drone and window washing system safely and effectively

· Maintain/care for drone and associated equipment

· Troubleshoot, report problems, perform minor repairs

· Conduct pre-flight inspection of drone equipment

· Understand and monitor weather conditions for safety

· Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and guidelines

· Participate in safety meetings

· Complete necessary trainings and maintain all required certifications/licenses

Your qualifications should include:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Three years of experience in landscaping, events staffing, or related field role with at least one year of customer-facing experience.

· One year of experience flying/operating equivalent drone system

· Current CA Driver’s License

· Current FAA Part 107 Certification

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $20.60 - $24.72 / hour
