Job Description
What You Will Achieve
You will support the Pfizer Collegeville campus to effectively communicate information and initiatives related to Collegeville site operations and activities, and enterprise outreach and programming. This role will be responsible for executing key elements of the day-to-day site communication strategy including content writing and developing highly visual site communications (articles, site homepage, digital communication boards, visuals / posters / signage, etc.).
The Sr Associate will serve on cross-site projects and provide communications support related to those projects. They will also support and lead local site events and programs, as well as executing day-to-day site planning, campus operations, data management, and procurement activities.
As a Sr Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the Pfizer Collegeville Site Affairs team. Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing important deliverables on time. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will make it easy to manage difficult issues and ensure an informed and engaged campus audience.
How You Will Achieve It
Write, edit, and prepare internal communications including site emails, notices, newsletters, intranet information, training materials, registration forms and employee meeting invites while recommending and maintaining Pfizer policy and branding guidelines.
Develop graphic designs and final proofs, coordinating production and distribution of materials.
Assist in maintaining consistency in visual branding across site in line with site’s communication strategy and Pfizer branding requirements and initiatives.
Support Site Affairs Lead in developing communication strategies related to site projects or specific site communication needs, base audience, messaging, impact, and channel considerations.
Represent site as part of the above-site Communicators Network or other limited duration teams and identify opportunities to align site and Network communications efforts.
In partnership with Collegeville Site Affairs Lead, support Pfizer and site colleague recognition programs.
Support ideation and implementation of site colleague engagement strategy, programming and community events, including developing collaborative and trusting relationships with site colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Basic Qualifications
Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree with one year of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree with six years of relevant experience; OR eight years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent graphic design and/or web design skills.
Strong business acumen, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to proactively develop creative ideas and new approaches to solve communication challenges.
Self-starter mentality, with ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
Ability to counsel and influence various levels across the organization, from entry level to senior leaders.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to operate in fast-paced, multi-cultural and diverse environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Nice-to-Have
Prior communications experience in pharmaceutical or biotech.
Prior pharmaceutical and/or health care industry experience
Knowledge of graphic design software.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to lift up to 25 pounds independently
Able to walk up to 3 miles across campus daily
Able to stand for prolonged periods

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $78,000.00 to $130,000.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10.0% of the base salary.
