Description:Per course adjunct faculty for the Counseling program's course, COUN 701-01.

Qualifications:
Counseling 701 01 Psychopathology (3 units)
Wednesdays 7:15PM - 10:00PM
This course provides classification of abnormal behaviors, and affective and personality disorders, utilizing the DSM 5. It also addresses the etiology, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of mental disorders, with referral implications for various diagnoses.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have a M.A., M.S., or Ph.D. in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Candidates must have experience teaching at the graduate level in Counseling, Psychology, or a related area, or at least 3 years of experience as a practicing clinician (e.g., MFT, PCC, clinical or counseling psychologist).
Preferred Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Counseling or Psychology is highly desirable. Current license in Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, Social Work, Psychiatry or Psychology. A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, multicultural/international competence, social justice, clinical expertise, and familiarity with counseling theory and practice.
Must be a resident of California.
