The Digital Product Manager is an essential Digital Marketing team member within the Digital Product and Experience group. The candidate will play a significant role in the success of City of Hope’s marketing, awareness, and prospecting initiatives.

As a Digital Product Manager, your responsibilities will include guiding, managing, executing, and maintaining digital products, projects, or enhancements from ideation to launch. These may consist of a generative AI chatbot or new technologies/digital properties to drive patient acquisition, a key strategic objective for City of Hope. You will also research new technologies, market trends, and competitors.

The candidate will also have experience creating and updating website pages in content management systems. This adaptive role balances hands-on, day-to-day website operation functions within a product management framework. Product management responsibilities may also include hands-on oversight of, for example, an online community.

The Digital Product Manager position involves engaging with users and stakeholders, conducting stakeholder discovery, understanding the stakeholders' needs, and integrating insights into product development. This stakeholder-centric role requires a deep knowledge of conversion-focused user journeys that translate users' needs into digital marketing opportunities.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum Experience: 5 years relevant experience working in digital marketing and/or product management. Client management experience is required.

Preferred Experience: Previous experience in healthcare, science, an academic or agency setting is highly desired but not required.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent product and project management experience
  • Ability to successfully navigate a matrixed organization
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate data-based recommendations
  • Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated results with progressively increasing responsibilities and proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects
  • Has successfully executed projects with remote and hybrid teams
  • Interacts easily with a wide variety of interpersonal styles and is open-minded on alternative means of getting needed business results
  • Exhibits a high degree of professionalism and competency dealing with a variety of individuals including physicians, senior executives, hospital administration, and agencies
  • Competency in user experience design, data analysis, and agile development
  • Must be highly coachable, a critical thinker, and use reason to solve problems effectively

Technology/Software:

  • High level of competency with content management systems (experience with Drupal is a plus)
  • Basic competency with HTML 4/5, CSS, and responsive design
  • Competency with Google Analytics 4 and other tools for campaign measurement and website performance monitoring
  • Experience with chatbot design and implementation
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira and Monday.com
  • Experience with Figma, Adobe products, etc.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $37.81 - $62.28 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
