We have an exciting opportunity for 5 Nurses to take part in our distinguished Nursing Fellowship Program for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This will offer an immersive experience, allowing you to expand your expertise while contributing to innovative patient care strategies. Any interested candidate must have a minimum of 1 year nursing experience. This will be a 8-10 week orientation, comprised of both didactic and clinical training. We anticipate that these positions will begin in December 2024. Orientation will be day shift, hours to be determined.
Position Summary: As a Clinical Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at City of Hope, you will play a critical role in the healthcare continuum, providing specialized care to critical care patients. Your responsibilities encompass various aspects of patient care, from monitoring vital signs to managing pain and ensuring a smooth recovery phase. You will be an integral part of our dedicated team of healthcare professionals committed to making a difference in the lives of cancer patients.
- Shift: Days / 12 hour shift
- Schedule: 7pm - 7:30am
Classification on nurse level is based on years of experience:
Clinical Nurse II : 1-3 years
Clinical Nurse III - 3 plus
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Nursing
- Current California RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Card through American Heart Association
- ACLS through American Heart Association
- PALS through American Heart Association
Preferred:
- 2 plus years experience
