Pfizer India Inflammation and Immunology has a robust pipeline in Dermatology Portfolio starting with the launch of Abrocitinib in Atopic Dermatitis in 2024. Abrocitinib, being a new class of product, represents significant therapeutic benefits to patients and will offer Pfizer’s innovation for Atopic Dermatitis Patients as an alternative to conventional therapies.
Considering the AD Space is still dominated by the conventional therapies with no significant innovation in past 2-3 decades, Pfizer presents a great opportunity for the candidates to lead the launch of new class of therapies and significantly impact patient lives suffering from Atopic Dermatitis.

Purpose

The Country Brand Manager - Dermatology leads the marketing efforts to to establish Abrocitinib as the SoC for moderate to severe Atopic Dermatitis by building advocacy for a new first-in-class therapy, leading market shaping activities to deliver belief shift in customers and collaborating with the cross-functional team to drive patient impact.

  • Strategy & Planning:

    • Support the strategic planning process for business based on customer insights

    • Develop innovative impactful promotional programs, activities and exact events to provide proper implementation of marketing plans in accordance to promotional cycles and current targets/tasks.

    • Tailor brand and execute brand strategies to local market needs, and define local priorities for a brand or TA

    • Optimally utilize available expenses to drive the same

    • Work on campaigns, supporting the preparation of the project brief, agency selection process, CEP registration, progress tracking, and ensuring timely delivery of monthly report.

    • Review external data, dashboard and share monthly report with CBL

    • Evaluate Access & Affordability opportunities

    Implementation Support:

    • Work with medical and legal team to get appropriate approval for materials

    • Train field force on product knowledge, positioning, and prioritization

    • Control performance of the marketing plan by monthly/quarterly monitoring of key performance indicators and monthly reporting KPIs to CL

    • Prepare Marketing slides for POA/Reviews and other important meetings

    • Work with Cross Functional Team to drive brand/portfolio objectives

    • Develop partnerships with multiple vendors to drive diagnostic infrastructure in the country

    • Manage local agencies for trans-creation (budget, scope, timing, and quality of project)

    Execution Excellence:

    • Forecast brand performance and track progress towards target

    • Monthly field communication on performance, action items for the brand for territories

    • Working with external partners & SMEs to drive growth & patient impact

    • Lead HCP segmentation and Persona activities

    • Develop the digital strategy roadmap

    • Creating strong Cx for HCPs and Patients & leveraging the customer journey needs

    Accountable

    • Brand Plan: review of brand strategies by CBL/regulatory / legal

    • Campaign Development: Select best fitting modules for country needs

    • Promo Meetings: Manage compliance review of materials

    Shared Accountability

    • Monthly Sales performance & Patient impact

    • Develop Life cycle Management plan for Brand /Portfolio

    • Long-range forecasting for brand (withBU lead and CBL)

    • Develop promotional meetings strategy and drive execution

    • Validate brand-specific messages, design training (w/medical, regulatory)

    • Develop awareness campaigns, congress content (w/ KOLs) in partnership with Medical

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • MBA - degree required. Advance degree preferred.

    • 4-8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in marketing, strategy, new product launch, business development in pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology companies

    • Prior launch experience a plus

    • The candidate must be a self-starter who is able to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and support the team through key strategic decisions for Pfizer’s I&I portfolio as well as able to understand the operational complexities required to execute against GLocal Launch Readiness

    • He/ she must be mature, self-driven, have exceptional learning agility and a high degree of comfort with ambiguity.

    • Strategic cross functional leadership experience including in market experience and above country/regional scope

    • Experience interfacing/collaborating with Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs and Regions

    • Excellent leadership and engagement record

    • Visionary leader, proven track record of driving change
