What You Will Achieve
The ADC ADME department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced scientist who will focus on quantitative small molecule mass spectrometry based bioanalytical method development, technical guidance/leadership and cross functional team representation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the following areas: small molecule mass spectrometry method development, sample extraction/preparation from a range of matrices, low volume/high sensitivity assay development, evaluation of bioanalytical data, and troubleshooting/maintaining high-end mass spectrometers. Familiarization with ADCs, PK analyses, in vitro metabolism and stability evaluations are a plus.
How You Will Achieve It
- Develop sample preparation and LC-MS/MS bioanalytical assays to support ADC quantification and characterization of lead research molecules
- Mentor junior colleagues with sample analysis, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on mass spectrometers
- Represent team in highly collaborative groups across research, translational sciences and clinical development
Qualifications
- Ph.D., with 3+ years of experience, Master's Degree with 7+ years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree with 9+ years of experience, in bioanalytical quantitative mass spectrometry
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills in small groups and for large audiences
Must-Have
- Excellent Method Development and troubleshooting experience with high-end Mass Spectrometers.
- Strong record of scientific achievement and excellent communication skills
- Highly effective written, presentation and verbal communication skills
- Expert knowledge of mass spectrometry and quantitative bioanalysis
Nice-to-Have
- Doctoral Degree (PhD).
- Experience in ADC bioanalysis
- Experience with Agilent LC, Sciex operating systems, and Watson
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- General lab activities, including moving reagents and instrument maintenance requiring fine motor skills
Work Location Assignment:On Premise with relocation support available.
