The incumbent will provide training and support for AccessHope, the fundraising CRM application and related integrated applications. Responsible for writing and editing the training content for end-user training, as well as creating job aids and training documentation for staff. Specialize in specific application modules. Participate in design activities and works with cross functional teams to develop training lesson plans. Involved in training program development, build technical training environment, oversee classroom training, and update training materials in support of training pathways. Requires thorough knowledge of departmental data policies and procedures. Serves as key resource to provide extensive group training and informational presentations for Office of Philanthropy staff in the use of AccessHope and other related applications (such as SharePoint, Asana, Luminate Online consultation and in-depth support to staff, including one-on-one training, as needed, ongoing assessment of functionality changes, development and implementation of application training to support changes, and active outreach with staff to continue to solicit feedback on AccessHope functionality.

As a successful candidate, you will:

Instructional Training, Design and Support

  • Manages the delivery, creation and maintenance of the Office of Philanthropy system training courses.
  • Identifies cross-functional information sharing and skill building opportunities to deliver customized training and developing course curricula, as needed.
  • Manages training support, training requests, course recommendations and appropriate access to ensure that all users can perform job functions as well as tracks training attendance.

Instructional Technology Projects

  • Analyzes impact of process or technical tool changes on existing processes, tools, and interfaces based on knowledge of interdependencies of related functions and systems.
  • Delivers training for end users on system(s). Designs and maintains accurate documentation systems for all database management and analysis applications.
  • Participation in Change Management process

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in instructional technology or an education-related discipline. Relevant experience may substitute for minimum educational requirements.
  • 1 or more years of demonstrated Blackbaud CRM experience in training and/or instructional design.
  • Or 1 or more years of experience creating instructor led training and/or relevant experience in adult education or instructional design, including experience in planning and developing learning objectives and course materials. Experience with LMS, e-learning tools like Captivate or similar tools may substitute for minimum experience.
  • Prior experience interfacing with Business Executives and Professionals.
  • Experience using all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) essential.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $28.63 - $44.38 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
