Join our team as an Ultrasound Technologist, where you will play a crucial role in performing diverse ultrasound imaging and ultrasound-guided procedures. As a key interface with patients, you will ensure their safety while meeting their imaging requirements. Your responsibilities will include participating in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities, contributing to our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high standards in diagnostic imaging. As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Perform a wide variety of ultrasound examinations and ultrasound guided procedures, with or without radiologist’s assistance.
  • Adapt to ultrasound equipment technology, utilizing appropriate technical factors and required exam specific protocols to deliver quality images.
  • Prepare room, equipment and necessary information. Follow established procedure workflow to deliver quality and thorough patient information and exam specific documentation.

Your qualifications should include:

  • High School Diploma; plus Completed program from the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP); (Two additional years of experience plus the minimum required experience may substitute for non-CAAHEP program)
  • One year in diagnostic imaging (New graduates with adequate clinical internship are considered)
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification required or must be obtained within six months of hire date.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $44.55 - $66.83 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
