Job Description
Summary
Assists the Pharmacist in Charge with inventory in nine clinic locations. Will prepackage and label medication per Texas State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Will order and receive medication for all clinics. Will assist the Pharmacist in Charge with insuring All Class D pharmacy documentation is in order as well as complete documentation for movement of medications.
The Baylor Teen Health Clinic currently provides pregnancy testing, family planning, sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and HIV/AIDS education and screening, primary healthcare, and case management services to teens, their partners, and adolescents in Harris County. The clinics provide services to teens from the age of 13-24.

Job Duties
- Will frequently travel among the nineclinic locations to insure inventory.
- Verifies prescription information; determines accuracy of the prescription based upon information provided, obtains the correct pre-made medications and ensures that medications are delivered to the patient in a timely manner.
- Orders pharmacy supplies and establishes inventory processes and records maintenance for drug delivery and dispensing.
- Collaborates with nursing staff on patient treatment schedules.
- Follows all safety and biohazard procedures.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant experience.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
