Job Description
Argonne National Laboratory is seeking a Postbaccalaureate Appointee in our Materials Science division. The candidate will contribute to the development of superconducting and semiconducting devices operating at cryogenic temperatures. Experimental work will involve sample preparation, including thin film synthesis, nanofabrication, microscopy, and cryogenic measurements.
Position Requirements
- Recent bachelor's degree.
- Prior experience in devices characterization, cryogenic testing, 3D CAD design, and MATLAB/Python are required.
- The candidate is expected to think and work independently and conduct research in a highly interdisciplinary environment of materials scientists, and engineers.
