Molecular Imaging Technologist II (Nuclear Medicine Technologist) - Radiology/PET/CT

Join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II, where you will be responsible for performing a wide range of Nuclear Medicine examinations on patients of all ages.In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures using radionuclides for patients of all ages. We are cutting edge with research and innovative new PET tracers, oncology driven, and fast-paced with a variety of exams. Our Nuclear Medicine equipment includes: GE Infinia, GE Infinia Hawkeye and Optima. Our PET/CT equipment includes: Siemens BioGraph Vision. As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Performs a variety of diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures, for patients of all ages, that requires the safe and effective use of radionuclides
  • Utilize safe techniques to include protective shielding and prescribe safety standards for the preparation and handling of radioactive sources
  • Maintain records of radioisotope receipt, use, storage and disposal in accordance with state and federal regulations governing the accountability for radioactive materials

Your qualifications should include:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
  • 3+ years in Nuclear Medicine as a Nuclear Med Technologist
  • California State Certification in Nuclear Medicine AND Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (CNMT) or R.T. (N) (ARRT)
  • Certification in Computed Tomography ARRT (CT) (highly preferred)
  • BLS

Note: Open to candidates with <3 years of experiences (ie new grads); however, the position would be for a Molecular Imaging Technologist I (Pay Range: $41.91/hr - $53.44/hr - $64.97/hr)

Pay Rate: $45.22 - $72.36 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
